Dear reader, This loveletter is written to you—a beautiful soul. Before you read on, please take a deep breath… and breathe out. These past few months have been such a journey. My heart has broken—quietly, deeply—with everything happening both in my personal world and the world at large. And yet, like kintsugi—the Japanese art of mending what’s broken with powdered gold—I’ve felt my heart come back together through love and compassion. The kind that reaches you unexpectedly. That finds you when you least expect it, in a word, a gesture, or a moment of stillness. It reminds me that love always loves you. Even when things feel like they’re in pieces. We’re still in the current of this Scorpio Full Moon—its moonlight stretching softly from May 12th, illuminating what’s ready to shift. It feels like a turning point. A moment of deep release. Of remembering. Of reclaiming. It’s a reminder that something old is ready to fall away—not because it was wrong, but because we’ve grown. This is the season of shedding, and you, like me, may feel it in your bones. The call to let go. To rise again. Scorpio asks us to dive into the depths—not to escape, but to return with gold. Transformation is not just a concept—it’s a lived experience. This moon says: trust what you feel. Honor what you want. Be seen in the truth of it all. There is power in revealing. There is freedom in being known. And then there’s you. You’ve been following my work, or maybe we’ve crossed paths in this or another life. However you’re here now, I hold space for you. Since January, I’ve been living from a suitcase—something that’s strangely familiar, like a return to my nomadic childhood. I’ve stayed in many places, been held by many people, and witnessed so much beauty along the way. My heart is full. The doors that opened for me weren’t just homes, they were soul-doors, and I walked through them with awe. I’m so grateful to all the beautiful souls who held theirs open for me. The word soul-door came to me while writing this loveletter, and out of curiosity, I looked it up. One meaning I found described it as a series of funeral shrouds—floating portals symbolically guiding the soul beyond the body. That interpretation touched me deeply. It reminded me that every ending is also a passage. Grief is not about ‘getting over something’—grief is about making space for it to live inside of you while you continue living. When you truly trust your belonging—to all beings—loneliness and fear transcend, revealing the deep peace that has always been within you. The gate you fear to enter is often the treasure you seek. This same spirit of deep connection guided my recent collaboration with kokūn, a mindful clothing label from India. Together with my muse, Itika, I created A Journey Across the Indian Ocean—a series born between the trees and the tide, where earth, water, and sky meet in sacred harmony. The textiles, dyed with foraged plants, temple flowers, and food waste, carried the breath of the land and sea.
