Dear reader, It’s been many moons since my last loveletter, and I’m so happy to write to you again after all this time. So much has changed, and my heart is full of gratitude and love for all the beauty unfolding in life. Today, I want to keep it brief and share something special with you. Every new moon and full moon, a new artwork from Kumbatia will be released. Much like the moon, some artworks will remain hidden—waiting for their moment to appear—while others will slowly reveal themselves, just as the moon does. For artworks that appear in advance, you’ll find them in my store, where you can join the waitlist to get early access or simply follow the lunar phases as each piece is revealed. Last November 15th, in collaboration with kizikula, we celebrated the opening of Kumbatia under the new moon. Thinking back to that moment fills me with joy and deep appreciation. Today marks a new moon in Aquarius—a time of transformation and new beginnings—I’m pleased to announce the release of the first artwork from Kumbatia. With Pluto, Mercury, the Moon, and the Sun all in Aquarius, we’re invited to embrace innovation and let go of the past. It’s a reminder that the universe supports bold action, inviting us to reimagine and create anew. As I travel the world this year (currently residing in Salobreña) my approach is simple: wherever life welcomes me, I stay. I’ve come to realize that home is no longer a place, but a feeling. The quote, “Home is not where you are born; home is where all your attempts to escape cease,” by Naguib Mahfouz, resonates deeply with me. Each step on this journey teaches me that home is wherever I find myself fully present, immersed in life, and connected to those around me.
